As a visual thinker, art has always been my first language. I have a passionate reaction to the beauty of my lived environment and re-experience this through painting. For me painting is an expression of who I am, and what I have had the privilege of experiencing.

        Soon after we arrived in Scarborough we were lucky enough to visit V G Allen's studio and fell in love with her work.

We purchased a scene of Scarborough South Bay which sits proudly above our fireplace. 

We feel her vibrant, evocative pieces capture the spirit of this gorgeous area of the country and each time we look we see something new in her paintings. 

We began with one painting and now we have three! They enhance our new home so well.
